從萬華驛、后里驛與新市驛出發，介紹了1927年獲選為台灣12勝的新店碧潭、虎頭埤，以及西式建築風格的毘盧禪寺、林本源園邸（別稱：林家花園）、新公園（現二二八和平公園）與台灣博物館。影片尾聲也紀錄了鐵道部軍犬會活動，眾人在歡呼聲中送行赫爾德號、庫爾塔號兩隻軍犬，氣勢昂揚地奔赴戰爭前線。
Departing from Wanhua Station, Houli Station, and Xinshi Station, the film showcases Bitan in Xindian and Hutoupi in southern Taiwan, both designated as two of Taiwan’s 12 Scenic Wonders in 1927. It also highlights the Western-style Pilu Temple, The Lin Family Mansion and Garden (also known as the Lin Family Gardens), Taipei’s New Park (now 228 Peace Park), and the National Taiwan Museum. The closing sequence features an event held by the Railway Department’s Military Canine Association. Cheers ring out as two military dogs, Herd and Kurta, proudly head to the front lines.
